We are looking forward to hosting you in Glendhu Bay 27-28th March 2025 for the Tri NZ Pacific Radiology NZ Schools Champs.  There are many event options to enter across the two days, compete for an individual National Title or have fun with your friends in the team events.

Prize Giving

There will be spot prizes given out as athletes finish and major spot prizes at the prize giving along with the medal for the place getters in each age group.  Prize-giving for Schools awards will be held on Thursday and Regional cup awarded Friday straight after the final finisher for the day.   Numbers will be picked at random. You MUST be present to receive your prize.

 

Suzuki Swift Giveaway

Its back for another year – Thanks to Suzuki New Zealand our AMAZING partner that after over 15 years of support, will continue to provide a Suzuki Swift to give away through the Suzuki National Series – LEGENDS!

Participants in all Suzuki National Triathlon Series events for the 2024/25 Season go into the draw to win a Suzuki Swift!!

At each Suzuki National Series Championship event this season, one lucky person per championship race will be drawn from all those eligible. One extremely lucky person from this eligible group of athletes will be drawn at random with the winner then in the draw to win the Suzuki Swift drawn at the conclusion of the 2024/25 Tri NZ Suzuki National Series.

The winner from each event will then have a chance to win the Suzuki Swift drawn at the conclusion of the 2024/25 Tri NZ Suzuki National Series.

Please make sure that you are familiar with each Suzuki National Series events prize draw and eligibility process to ensure you are in the draw to win!

General Information

Registration

Registration will take place Wednesday 26th March at Glendhu Bay Motorcamp, Wanaka, from 3pm-6pm.  We ask that you attend this registration to collect your race-pack, which will include your race number, timing transponder, swim cap & race info.  Late entries will be taken at the registration with a late fee of $10.  There are no late entries taken on race day. Course/transition familiarisation will take place at this time. 

If you are unable to make this time, someone else may register on your behalf. If no one can collect your race pack for you we can make arrangements for the race pack to be collected on Thursday between 7:00am-8:00am.  Please email southlandtrimulticlub@gmail.com or phone 0275709789.

Online entries will close on Sunday 23rd March at midnight. Then late entries will be taken on Wednesday 27th March at registration. These late entries will incur a late fee of $10 + the entry fee.

You are able to transfer your entry to another Athlete with an Admin fee of $15. Please email southlandtrimulticlub@gmail.com.

If you need to withdraw from the race prior to race-day due to an injury etc, a refund may be issued with a $15 Admin Fee. There will be NO refunds after 28 February 2024. Please email southlandtrimulticlub@gmail.com.

No refunds will be given due to cancellation of the event due to circumstances beyond the organisers control including, adverse/extreme weather conditions,  natural disaster, any Civil Defence warnings (i.e. Tsunami), earthquake, pandemic, or any other event when it is deemed unsafe to safely host the event. Any decision is final and will be made in the interest of safety.

Age Groups for the event will be taken as at the 1st January 2025. Minimum age is 10. Age Groups will be as per Tri NZ competition rules,

      • Under 12 (minimum age 10)   
      • Under 13
      • Under 14
      • Under 16
      • Under 19
      • Triathlon Teams of 2/3 in all age categories for the Triathlon or Aquathlon options (Day 1). Note all members must be from the same school, the same gender and in the same age category,
      • Athletes racing in Under 12, Under 13, Under 14 and Under 16 categories will complete in draft-illegal races. Athletes racing in the Under 19 category will compete in draft-legal races but with non-drafting equipment. This shall apply both to individual and team races.
