New Zealand’s elite triathletes will race to the Paris 2024 Olympic Games and destinations beyond in suits aptly designed by French triathlon clothing and equipment giants Z3R0D.

Triathlon New Zealand is delighted to welcome the France-based company and its advanced materials and world-leading technology to the Tri NZ family of exclusive suppliers.

The initial three-year deal, running until December 31, 2025, will see New Zealand’s best race in Z3R0D trisuits in all World Triathlon-sanctioned races from the beginning of 2023. This includes the XXXIII Olympiad where triathlon will be raced along the Champs-Élysées under the shadow of the Eiffel Tower from July 30-August 5, 2024.

“Providing our elite athletes with quality equipment is vital and Z3R0D produce an excellent race suit product…it’s fantastic to welcome them to the Tri NZ family,” said Triathlon New Zealand CEO Pete de Wet.

“We’re gearing up for a busy 18 months as we move towards the Paris Olympics and I am pleased to have Z3R0D in our corner.”

The feeling is mutual with Z3R0D co-founder Frédéric Dorez proud to add Tri NZ to a list of national federations that includes France, Canada, The Netherlands, Brazil and Ireland.

Since founding the company with brother and fellow former elite triathlete Pierre in 2007, athletes have raced to 16 Olympic medals in Z3R0D trisuits and the brand is a runaway best-seller in the highly competitive French market.

“We are very proud and excited to partner with Triathlon New Zealand and offer elite athletes our expertise and know-how,” said Frédéric Dorez.

“We are continuously improving and innovating in the conception of our products, to optimise the use that can be made of them. Being able to gear up the best athletes with our trisuits is the best acknowledgement of our work”.

“Z3R0D race suits meet the needs top athletes require for optimal performance, giving them competitive advantages that will make the difference.”

The Z3R0D agreement comes hot on the heels of ASICS NZ extending its long-standing alliance as Tri NZ’s Official Footwear Partner for an additional two years.
