Tri NZ is delighted to announce the extension of its partnership with sportswear and lifestyle giant ASICS as the code races towards the Paris 2024 Olympic Games.

ASICS NZ has returned as the governing body’s Official Footwear Partner, adding at least another two years to a long-standing alliance with Tri NZ.

In addition to the deal with Tri NZ, elite Kiwis Tayler Reid (main image), Nicole van der Kaay, Ainsley Thorpe and Andrea Hewett are also personally sponsored by ASICS NZ.

“It’s great to have ASICS reaffirm their commitment as Official Footwear Partner to Triathlon New Zealand for another two years,” said Tri NZ CEO Pete De Wet. “We have a strong relationship with ASICS and look forward to working with them across both our community and elite environments.”

ASICS NZ Sports & Brand Marketing Manager Jason Niles said the brand was proud to continue its long-standing partnership with Tri NZ.

“As a brand we’re driven to see more kiwis participating in sport and leading healthy lifestyles to benefit both the mind and the body,” Niles said.

“We firmly believe that strong sporting communities like what Triathlon has created are foundational to the success of NZ and we’re excited to continue our journey together.”
