
Kylie Frost started swimming in 2016 as physiotherapy for a debilitating form of arthritis. She did her first triathlon in February 2017 and soon became addicted. She spent the next few years working with two of New Zealands top coaches and soaking up as much knowledge as she could and in 2021 achieved her ultimate goal of completing Ironman New Zealand in Taupo as the Tony Jackson Scholarship recipient. Kylie has a unique perspective on triathlon and has achieved results and distances that many would have thought for her were impossible. Her passion is helping anyone new to the sport no matter who they are. Working around her own physical limitations has given her a great understanding of a person’s ability to overcome whatever obstacles life throws at them. She uses sound advise and encouragement allowing her to relate and connect to others while sharing her love of the sport.
