2025 Nomination Form

This form is ONLY for athletes competing in the NZ 2024 – 2025 selection events.  Do Not complete this form if you are unable to attend the selection race.  If the race you wish to gain selection for is not listed here then please see the below “Special Circumstance Form”

2025 Special Circumstances Application – THIS FORM MUST BE COMPLETED IN FULL WITH ALL RELEVENT DETAILS

Complete this form only if:

• There is no appointed selection event for the World Championship team you wish to be selected for.
• Extenuating circumstances prevent you from competing in a selection race
• Extenuating circumstances prevent you from finishing the selection race
• You entered the selection race but your finish result was affected by extenuating circumstances.

Garth Barfoot Standard Triathlon Prize Offering

Garth Barfoot is generously supporting the Standard Distance Triathlon for the 2025 World Championships in Wollongong, Australia. These prize packages will be made available to athletes who meet the criteria and have qualified for the Tri NZ Age-Group Team of 2025.

Tri NZ Suzuki Standard Triathlon National Championships

Tinman, Mt Maunganui, 24^th November 2024

First male and female in each Age Group category in the 2024-2025 Tri NZ Suzuki Standard Triathlon National Championship race will receive an accommodation subsidy at the 2025 World Championships, Wollongong, Australia on the 15^th to 19^th October 2025.

• If there are 10+ starters in an Age Group on race day the $750 accommodation subsidy will be made available to the 2^nd placegetter
• If there are 20+ starters in an Age Group on race day the $750 accommodation subsidy will be made available to the 3^rd placegetter
• This scale will continue in multiples of 10

Conditions

• Conditional of Tri NZ team selection & eligibility being met
• Accommodation subsidy is only available for team accommodation available through Tri NZ Official Travel Supplier – House of Travel
• Athlete must race in 2025 World Triathlon Standard Triathlon Championship race to receive prize (not transferable to other races or events).
• No ‘roll downs’ of prize offered
