Fireco Kai Iwi Lakes Triathlon

The Fireco Kai Iwi Lakes Triathlon on 12 April 2025 features a choice of a short or long course and options for teams.
The start, finish and transition areas are all based at Pine Beach where there is camping available so you can really make a weekend of it.
The course starts with the swim taking place at the main lake where the translucent water is not only an inviting beginning but a refreshing start to the event. Both the cycle and run courses include some significant hills, with the run being majority off road adding further mental and physical demands on athletes. With each transition occurring at one base the event makes for a fun atmosphere where spectators feel involved the whole way through.
