Organisers of the World Triathlon Multisport Championships have confirmed the competition schedule and venues for the event set to take place in Townsville, Australia, from 15-25 August, 2024. The 10-day event will include 19 World Championship races across five different levels of athletes, including Age Group, Para Triathletes, Junior, Under 23 and Elites.
Event Schedule
- Friday 16 August – Sprint Duathlon (Age Group & Junior) and Standard Duathlon (Elite & Under 23)
- Sunday 18 August – Standard Duathlon (Age Group), Sprint Duathlon (Para) and the Mixed Relay Duathlon
- Tuesday 20 August – Cross Triathlon (Junior, Para, Elite, Under 23 & Age Group)
- Thursday 22 August – Cross Duathlon (Junior, Para, Elite, Under 23 & Age Group)
- Friday 23 August – Aquathlon (Elite, Under 23, Junior, Para & Age Group)
- Sunday 25 August – Aquabike (Age Group) and Long Distance Triathlon (Elite, Para & Age Group)
