Triathlon New Zealand is delighted to announce a three-year extension of its partnership with RCHNZ Medical Imaging Group, New Zealand’s leading private radiology provider.
Building on an initial two-year deal, RHCNZ will continue as Tri NZ’s Official Medical Imaging Partner with Auckland Radiology, Bay Radiology and Pacific Radiology maintaining strong visibility and engagement across the sport, from grassroots participation through to elite performance.
As part of the extension, Bay Radiology will retain title sponsorship of the 2026 NZ Schools Triathlon Championships, to be held in Mt Maunganui on March 26–27. The event remains a key feature of Tri NZ’s domestic showcase, the Tri NZ Suzuki Series, and a cornerstone of the sport’s junior development pathway.
RHCNZ Medical Imaging Group CEO Steve Carden says the partnership with Tri NZ reflects a shared commitment to healthy, active communities across Aotearoa.
“Since partnering with Triathlon New Zealand three years ago, Pacific, Bay and Auckland Radiology has been proud to stand behind a sport that inspires healthier, more active communities across New Zealand,” Carden said.
“Continuing as Tri NZ’s Official Medical Imaging Partner for the next four years means we can keep delivering responsive, high-quality imaging care that helps athletes start strong, go further, and recover. Tri NZ CEO Pete De Wet said the partnership extension reinforces the alignment between triathlon and organisations committed to supporting wellbeing, performance and recovery for New Zealanders at every level of sport.

“During our first term together, RHCNZ and its Auckland, Bay and Pacific Radiology brands have played an invaluable role in supporting athletes within our High Performance programme, helping them diagnose issues early and return to competition with confidence.
