2018 Elite Junior Worlds team to race the Grand Finale, Gold Coast in September announced.

The Triathlon New Zealand selection panel have picked the 2018 Elite Junior Worlds team to race the Grand Finale, Gold Coast in September.
Hannah Knighton (Waikato) and Ari Graham (Canterbury) are reselected from their international debuts in 2017 along with Brea Roderick from the Canterbury Regional Youth Academy.
Trent Dodds (Auckland) also returns for his second year to a Junior World Champs along with first timers Dylan McCullough (Auckland) and Saxon Morgan(Canterbury).
The qualification race in New Plymouth on Sunday 25th was also the Youth Olympic Games qualification race and the team to represent New Zealand will be announced late April.
 
Janus Staufenberg (Wanaka) and Olivia Cummings (Waikato) have been named as non-travelling reserves and is yet to be determined if New Zealand will receive a 4th spot at World Champs for them to start.
